The town of Cutler Bay has undergone significant growth since the 1950s when Cutler Ridge was established as a community. Initially, the area covered almost one square mile and was an agricultural development started by Dr. William C. Cutler. Today, the town has expanded to become a 9.7 square mile tight-knit community with almost 45,000 residents.
In January 2005, the residents voted to incorporate, and later that year, the Town Charter was approved, making the Town of Cutler Bay the youngest incorporated municipality in the State of Florida. The town's borders run from SW 184th Street (Eureka Drive) east of US 1 to the coast, and north of Black Point Marina. It includes the northeast section of areas formerly known as Cutler Ridge to the west, as well as the neighborhood and former CDP of Lakes by The Bay to the east.
Seagrape is located close to Black Point Marina, which is the largest public marina in Miami, making it a favorite spot for boating enthusiasts. The marina is also very close to Biscayne National Park. Black Point serves as the starting point for fishing and diving expeditions, especially among locals. The park consists of large picnic pavilions, grills, bikeways, jogging trails, and a jetty that extends 1.5 miles into Biscayne Bay.
Seagrape Cutler Bay is a picturesque gated residential community that encompasses 108 homes, each thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious living environment. Security is a top priority, as evidenced by the 24/7 video surveillance that ensures the safety of all residents. The entrances are beautifully adorned with lush landscaping, featuring vibrant flowers and carefully maintained greenery, creating an inviting atmosphere for residents and guests.
Located in the serene and welcoming town of Cutler Bay, this community has fostered strong ties among its residents. Many of them have called Seagrape home for over twenty years, reflecting the comfort, stability, and warmth that this neighborhood offers. The longevity of its residents speaks volumes about the sense of community and togetherness that prevails here, making Seagrape Cutler Bay a prime example of a well-loved and enjoyable place to live. Community events and friendly interactions among neighbors further enhance the experience, ensuring that it is not just a place to reside, but a true home.
